Rufus Lumry is the founder and President of Acorn Ventures, Inc.  Prior to founding Acorn Ventures, he served as a director and Chief Financial Officer of McCaw Cellular Communications (now AT&T Wireless).  Mr. Lumry was one of the founders of McCaw Cellular, and retired from McCaw in 1990 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Lumry holds an A.B. from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.

Scott Drum joined Acorn Ventures, Inc in 1997.  Prior to that he served as Chief Marketing Officer for diversified specialty retailer Cole National Corporation (dba Pearle Vision Centers, Sears Optical, Things Remembered).  He was Director of Marketing at Star Market Company, a New England supermarket chain, and at General Mills, Inc. where he managed brands such as Wheaties breakfast cereal, Betty Crocker dessert mixes and the Wallpapers To Go decorating stores.  Mr. Drum graduated from Yale University and received an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Caren Seidle joined Acorn Ventures in 2002 as Chief Financial Officer and also serves as CEO of Centricity Records.

Elaine Scherba is senior vice president and a principal of Northwest Financial Advisory Services, Inc. NWFAS has provided consulting services to many early stage high technology and internet firms. Previously, Ms. Scherba served as Vice President and Treasurer of Egghead, Inc.  Ms. Scherba received bachelor degrees from Carroll College and an M.B.A. from the University of Washington.

Greg Forge is Acorn's General Counsel. Previously he served as Vice President, General Counsel for HighSpeed.com, a wireless broadband communication company, and as a partner  of Davis Wright Tremaine, a national law firm with office in eight US cities and China. He also has extensive public policy background having served as Special Counsel to the Washington State Stadium Authority, Special Assistant to the Governor of Idaho, and as counsel for the City of SeaTac for airport
